Mizuho OSI, a leading medical device and operating room equipment company, has appointed Peter Nyame as Human Resources Director. Mizuho OSI worked with Frederickson Partners on the search.
In the role Nyame will report to President and Chief Operating Officer Steve Lamb, from headquarters in Union City, CA. Nyame will be responsible for establishing and driving the people and human resources (HR) strategy of Mizuho OSI as the organization grows, including overseeing talent management, organizational design, performance management, workforce planning, total rewards, HR operations and HRIS implementation.
Nyame joins the company from Sierra Circuits, where he was Human Resources Director. Previously he held HR positions at Wellcare Health Plans for six years as HR Business Partner (HRBP) and Senior HR Manager, at Gates Corporation as HR and Operations Manager and Corporate Trainer, and at DHL Global Mail as HR Manager. Nyame was also Production Manager and Associate Director of HR at packaging company Accel, Inc. Nyame has a B.A. in Management and Labor Studies from Rutgers University, an M.B.A. in HR Leadership from Franklin University, and a masters in Science, Executive Leadership and Organizational Change from Northern Kentucky University.
