Mars, a leading multinational manufacturer and provider of products and services for people and pets, has appointed Tracey DaCosta as Vice President (VP) of People & Organization for Science & Diagnostics, North America. Mars partnered with Frederickson Partners, a Gallagher Company, on the executive search.
In her role as VP of People & Organization for the Petcare Science & Diagnostics division, Tracey will drive performance through a people-centered strategy, championing the modernization of the employee experience. Within this newly formed division, she will optimize and accelerate the people agenda across a large and diverse organization. Tracey will report to Brady Grange, the Global VP People & Organization (CPO) of Mars Science & Diagnostics. Tracey joins Mars from Zoetis, where she has been an integral part of the company since before its spin-off from Pfizer and IPO in 2013. At Zoetis, she played a key role in establishing the new company’s HR organization and has overseen nearly every HR function. As a Vice President-level HR Business Partner, she supported U.S. Commercial and global functions, leading projects in M&A integrations, payroll implementations, COVID planning, compensation audits, organizational restructures, and policy development.
Tracey holds a Juris Doctor degree in Law from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science from Rutgers University.
