Klaviyo a leading e-mail marketing and e-commerce startup company, has appointed Ed Meskey as Director, Human Resources. Klaviyo worked with Frederickson Partners on the executive search.
As Director, Human Resources, Meskey will be based in the company’s Boston, MA headquarters and report to Chief People Officer Jenny Dearborn. Meskey will help lead the strategy and design of Klaviyo’s HR programs in its next phase of growth and expansion, particularly working with research and development (R&D) teams to drive performance and talent management initiatives. Klaviyo is a rapidly growing tech unicorn with key offices in the U.S. and U.K.

Meskey joins Klaviyo from Bird, an eco-transportation startup where he was Head of Tech HR Business Partners and Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP). Prior to Bird he was Senior HR Manager in Azure Cloud Storage at Microsoft, held HRBP roles at Facebook, Dropbox and Microsoft, and was an HR Generalist at GE. Meskey started his career in the U.S. Air Force. He holds an M.S. in HR and employment relations and a B.S. in labor studies and employment relations from Penn State University.
