Freenome, a biotech company connecting people with next-generation blood tests for early cancer detection, has appointed Julie Gonzalez as Senior Director of Talent Acquisition. Freenome partnered with Frederickson Partners on the executive search.
In her role as Senior Director of Talent Acquisition Julie will be responsible for the development of practices and plans that will help the company achieve their growth initiatives. She will report to the company’s Chief People Officer, Julie Tran.
Gonzalez joins Freenome from Eightfold, where she served as the Vice President of Talent Acquisition. There she was responsible for all global recruiting initiatives for Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product, Professional Services and G&A in the US, EU and India.
Previously, she worked 5 years at Amazon as the Head of Talent Acquisition for several of Amazon’s new and emerging businesses. She brings extensive talent acquisition experience from Amazon, Google, Sony Ericsson, Yahoo, Intuit, and multiple startup companies. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University.
