MENLO PARK, Calif., Dec. 1, 2020 — Frederickson Partners, the largest people and human resources (HR) executive search firm and talent network in the U.S., today announced expansion of its geographic coverage and focus on the Southeast U.S. and Latin America. The firm is appointing partner Beth Ann Namey as executive search lead for the Southeast. In the new role, Namey will open the Nashville, Tennessee office to serve as the Southeast regional hub for Frederickson and to lead the Latin American marketplace, helping serve organizations in these regions.
The appointment allows Frederickson to meet a growing demand for services that it has seen in both geographical areas. As one of the emerging tech hubs in the Southeast that include Research Triangle Park (Raleigh), Atlanta, Huntsville, Charlotte and South Florida, Nashville now leads the U.S. as the eighth most popular city to move to. Additionally, the state of Tennessee has seen a 40% increase in corporate headquarters jobs since 2013. In Latin America, venture capital has surged in the last decade with $4.6 billion invested in startups just in 2019. Both trends point to a growing number of businesses with a need for the HR executive search and advisory services that are Frederickson’s specialty.

Namey is currently a partner with Frederickson, where she previously served as chief of staff and also as a director of executive search for the firm. She will re-locate to Nashville from Silicon Valley, where she has worked on more than 75 searches with U.S. and global-based companies in technology and a range of other industries. Earlier in her professional career, Namey was an accomplished professional ballet dancer and coach and also served as a union representative, and on the negotiating committee for the American Guild of Musical Artists.
