Tripwire, a leading provider of cybersecurity, IT security and compliance automation software for 20 years, has appointed Staci Schwartz as Vice President of Human Resources. Tripwire worked with Frederickson Partners on the executive search.
In the role, Schwartz will report to President Subhajit Bagchi and be responsible for building the people function within Tripwire to support its strategy for U.S. and international growth. Schwartz will implement HR processes for employees worldwide, partner with the executive team and drive a talent strategy that includes recruitment, retention, and development of top talent globally, as well as performance management and total rewards.
Schwartz joins Tripwire from her extensive tenure of 20 years as an HR leader in clean energy company Avangrid Renewables (formerly PPM Energy and Iberdrola Renewables). Starting as HR Business Partner (HRBP) at PPM Energy, a Portland startup, Schwartz managed HR through exponential company growth from 60 to over 900 employees in a few years. With subsequent acquisitions by Scottish Power and then Iberdrola, she was appointed to Managing Director of HR at Iberdrola for three years. With the formation of subsidiary Avangrid Renewables, operating in 24 U.S. states, she served as Vice President of HR, Strategic HRBP for over eight years, advising the CEO and executive team. Schwartz additionally held earlier HR positions at Intel and Consolidated Freightways. She has B.A. degrees in psychology and sociology, both with a business concentration, from Wake Forest University and a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University. She also attended the IESE Business School and IMD Business School.
