Frederickson Looks Ahead to New Opportunities with Gallagher | ||||||
We are three weeks into Frederickson Partners' being acquired by Gallagher, a Fortune 500 company and leading global insurance, risk management and advisory firm. It’s a wonderful next step that will give us more ways to support our clients. Frederickson clients now have access to Gallagher’s executive search expertise in all specialties -- from VP and Board searches through the entire C-suite -- and we will leverage Gallagher’s portfolio of great human resources (HR) consulting services in areas including compensation, diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) risk management and employee benefits to deliver more impact. I'm personally overjoyed at having a boss for the first time in 27 years. I now report to an amazing leader who is everything that one could want and have also gained a fabulous HRBP with whom I partner. Everyone I've met is the best of the best -- it's like meeting a very large village of the nicest, smartest, and most helpful professionals in the world. | ||||||

We partnered with GRAIL to place Julie Currie as Chief People Officer. As CPO, Julie will be responsible for leading the People function within GRAIL. Working closely with the executive team, she will help drive the People strategy including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, change management and culture. She will report to the company’s CEO Bob Ragusa. Julie joins GRAIL from Amplitude, where she served as Chief People Officer. There she helped scale the company and achieve a successful IPO in 2021. Prior to Amplitude, Julie served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Western Digital for two years. Her earlier positions include Senior VP, HR at Inphi Corporation (acquired by Marvell Technologies). Julie completed courses as part of the Northwestern University and Schulich Kellogg School of Management Executive MBA program. She also has a B.A, Double Major in Management and Economics from the University of Guelph. Julie, congratulations on your new role as Chief People Officer at GRAIL! |

We worked with Syufy Enterprises to place Marianne Campbell as Chief Human Resources Officer. As CHRO, Marianne will serve as an essential member of the executive team, implementing HR solutions to support Syufy’s organization and portfolio companies. She will design forward-thinking programs for talent acquisition, training and development, organizational effectiveness and HR analytics, empowering the organization and its businesses to grow and thrive. Marianne will report to Chairman and CEO Raymond Syufy. Campbell joins Syufy after serving at AAA Northern California, Nevada and Utah as Chief People Officer. There she was responsible for all facets of HR and led the HR Committee Board of Directors and a cooperative initiative to recruit high potential leaders. Previously, she worked at Encore Capital Group as Director of Corporate Social Responsibility, leading the creation and execution of an inaugural global, multi-faceted CSR/ESG program. Marianne's earlier roles included HR leadership positions at Visa and Gap, Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from University of Wisconsin. Estrella Parker is Chief People Officer at Cupertino Electric Inc. (CEI), a private electrical engineering and construction company recognized as one of the largest specialty contractors in the United States. Parker joined CEI in 2021 from her prior role as Chief Human Resources Officer at Satellite Healthcare. Q. What are your top HR priorities for Cupertino Electric in 2022? My overall priority is to enable the workforce required for our company’s sustainable growth. Currently, a priority within that is to leverage Cupertino Electric’s strong culture and high CEO approval rating in recruitment marketing efforts to support expansion into new U.S. markets, where we might be less known. Part of our growth involves ensuring that we have enough employees onboard who have what they need to get up to speed quickly and succeed. To do that, we’re also focused on up-leveling manager competencies around hiring and engaging employees. Approach-wise, I’m establishing more processes for scale and efficiency and am driving a more strategic, proactive approach to our workforce planning and development. That effort integrates with other important initiatives for employees that we’re working on, like flexible work models and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs |
