SIMULATE, a biotechnology company with a mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable nutrition with alternative-meat products, has appointed Lisah Barry as People Lead. SIMULATE worked with Frederickson Partners on the executive search.
Barry will build human resources (HR) programs, processes and systems for scale, and will lead people through the company’s current growth and change period. She will develop comprehensive talent acquisition and retention strategies that align with SIMULATE’s strategic goals. Reporting to the company’s Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Sam Terris, Barry will also serve as a strategic partner of the executive leadership team and work closely to successfully establish SIMULATE as an employer of choice.
Barry joins SIMULATE from ARRIS, where she recently served as Vice President of People. Previously, Barry held HR leadership roles at StyleSeat, Stimulant, VideoSurf (acquired by Microsoft), Hive7 (acquired by Playdom) and Zynga. Barry holds a Master’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree from State University of New York at Fredonia.
