Asana, a leading work management platform for teams, has appointed Amy Klose as Head of Employee Relations. Asana partnered with Frederickson Partners on the executive search.
As Head of Employee Relations (ER), Klose will develop and lead Asana’s strategy and company best practices for the ER function globally, coaching the next generation of leaders. Klose will report to Head of People Anna Binder, and partner closely with the company’s Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs), legal team and People managers to evolve ER policy and build employee engagement across the organization.
Klose joins Asana from Fastly, where she served as Director of Employee Relations. Previously she held HR executive roles at augmented reality company Magic Leap as Senior Employment Counsel, Senior Director, HRBP and Director, Employee Relations and Compliance. Klose earlier served as Executive Director of Human Resources for the City of Miami and was a Labor and Employment Attorney for Hankins & Ator, PL. Klose earned a Juris Doctor of Law degree at Florida International University College of Law, and a Bachelor of Science degree at Florida State University.
